#19 Nick Hind

AFL football is pretty much just sprinting with bumping these days…one major criticism I have of Dodoro is that he failed to realise this change for a few years, and while Richmond was drafting sprinting machines, Dodoro was still drafting old-school plodders. Anyway, we’ve changed tack now, and most of the plodders are gone. Except for Dylan Clarke, who will never be a premiership standard AFL player, and will finally be delisted at the end of 2021.

Anyway…I’ve posted these numbers before…and have now added Hind’s speed measurements…at least he is at the right end of the scale to be a viable AFL player:

McKenna: 20m Sprint = 2.93secs, Repeat Sprint = 24.16secs, Agility = 8.12secs
Snelling: 20m Sprint = 2.88secs, Repeat Sprint = 24.64secs, Agility = 8.24secs, 3km TT = 10:10, Beep Test = 14.1
Nick Hind: 20m Sprint = 2.92secs, Agility = 8.36secs
McGrath: 20m Sprint = 3.02secs, Repeat Sprint = 24.44secs, Agility = 8.38secs, 3km TT = 10:42, Beep Test = 13.1
