I don’t want to say it, because I’ll get bashed, but Tippa has been underwhelming as a forward so far this year. I know that he is a pressure player, but also needs to hit the scoreboard.

Not going to bash - because I don’t disagree. I would actually prefer to see him running and carrying through the midfield. His disposal by foot has beautiful touch, and I think he’s wasted a little up forward.
That said, if he plays forward, halfway through the year I would love to see a stat based around goals from forward half turnovers, and see how many are attributed to Tippa.
Great interview up on EFC site, just sounds like a great kid who still cant believe he is playing AFL. If he can keep improving and working hard, could be anything.
Excellent beginning, looked very mature and strong.
To temper enthusiasm he was not playing against a regular defender and managed to get out on his own, which normally will be harder. However his tackling and attack were first class, and doesn;t get carried away.
Paul Barnard? Chappy also. haven't had forward of his type for a long time.
Good signs, lets see next game if Geelong give him as much space and disrespect.
Out on his own??? At least two of his 4 goals he had a bloke on top of him.
