I noticed when he handballed over the top of an Essendon player straight to a West Coast player, but he wasn’t the only one.

He is what happens when you have your main midfielders injured.

Pazza still wants him dropped

His endeavor is top notch, smashes in contest after contest. Looks to be lacking a little fitness, either that or he is just snail pace. He is a handy acquisition though and will be good cover for injuries to top line mid’s next season.

He was better last night but has been rubbish for much of the year.

Good, now he needs that game to be the standard.

Really good to see him find some form.
Has the runs on the board already a proven player.
Just need to find consistency & get his engine right.

Encouraging.

Absolute twaddle. His first game wasn’t great (and that can be put down to his late start to the pre-season) but since round 4 he has been pretty good. Gets to the bottom of packs, gets plenty of ball and tackles well and often. He has been good.

No he hasn’t.

That’s a strong argument.

In general, player development seems to be going ok despite the circumstances where natural forces would normally mean development goes backwards.

Bird, Jackson Merrett and Gleeson were good last night… Hartley pretty good again and Joe on the improve. The game before Fanta played a blinder, Tippa’s been sensational all year (off a bit this week). Browns been good. Lueny’s been good. Matty Dea too.

You mean like the one he is countering?

They both have valid points. This may need to go to the tribunal

Best game for the club last night. Happy for him.

Ahead of Howlett right now id feel.

Kind of hard for Howlett to get a game right now to be fair.

Love his in and under work. He is so hard at it. Put Hep and a few other A graders around him and I expect him to be an even better player. Just lacks the absolute polish with his disposal to be a top class midfielder.

Not sure how anyone has seen him as anything more than a battler this year. Last night was easily his best game and hopefully he can produce more like it.

Wasn’t a real fan of his so far, but I thought he was very good for us last night.
Well done
