Ball drop is way too high and he looks too stiff and awkward when kicking.
Iâm very confident this kid will be a 200 game player and we got him for a nothing pick just like Hooker, Hartley, Walla & Fantasia.
I love blokes who find it easy getting the ball, skills can be worked on.
His power, fitness, footy smarts are alll strengths of his.

Iâm so rapt we finally got Clint Jones as a top up! Nah just jokes, he definitely has some abilities to work with, as others have said, work on the disposal and we may have the steal of the draft.

Yeah Iâm a big fan of us drafting blokes who can actually find lots of the footy, especially with midfielders. Itâs the hardest skill to teach. Picking blokes like Sam Lonergan who was a low possession small engine midfielder just wonât cut it.
Was a big fan of Zach Merrett on draft day when there wasnât much hype around him. His draft profile read that he was quick, a great tackler and one of the best kicks in the draft. But mainly he had the most touches in the TAC cup for the season (or something like that). Bar his height, the description seemed a bit too good to be true. And sure enough look how that turned out.
Damn straight. Turns out heâll never even make the All-Australian squad.

Some of the games best players were often described as being too slow, canât kick, canât run. Effort, determination, courage, willing yourself to the contest are traits that canât be taught sometimes. There are obvious flaws in Clarkeâs game but hey Jobe Watson had a lot of flaws too when he first came on the scene.

Really happy with this one, really liked him in the Champs, thought he was the difference in the come back win against Vic Country.

Only good thing he did was miss that open goal Anzac day to put us infront which lead to lockyer kicking it out to a pack of players where Ryder spoiled, nat rat handballed to hocking who handballed to zaharakis who kicked the sealer!
