As a general comment rather than a recruiting suggestion per se, this guy is 100% AFL quality and should be playing somewhere most weeks.Depending how things go with other mature smalls (Cooney, Dempsey, Watson, Howlett, Kelly etc.) I’d be happy to keep him

You might be deceived if you look only at his stats. He is an accumulator who does not impact the game at AFL level . Take another example we delisted last year, Nick O’Brien; same problem.

He’s not even a spud. He’s “just a player.” There’s no reason why he should be playing for us this week much less next year.
We gave him a second chance and he took it as best he could, but he is no where near it at AFL level.
Yet has a grand final medal. He may not be good but he is an afl level player nonetheless.
Please don’t put him on the list next year.

Excellent game yesterday and worthy of a place on an AFL list, albeit not Hawthorn’s, but you would be crazy to draft him given his age.

To be fair I watched the Suns replay and while I will stick to my general assessment of him, he did play well in that game and was a worthy part of the team , but is at the end of his career and would not get a game in the AFL given the quality of our list next year.
