Just browsing the Bombers website, as you do when you need to be distracted from writing school reports, when I perused the current Essendon staff list. I noticed Luke Ball’s name was missing! He only started with the club in January. I then checked on current employment available at Essendon FC and guess what…? They need a new ‘People Performance Manager’, which was Luke’s job. Did I miss something or has he slipped quietly out the back door of the club without any fanfare? If so, he is a huge loss to the fabric of the club. Quality bloke and a great source of contemporary coaching knowledge. Hope I’m wrong about this!
More likely the site hasn’t been updated since he joined, given how we are with website updates.
