Mitch Brown - The Accountant

Brown has performed better than Hartley or Dea or Gleeson.

Slightly different roles, and I didnā€™t think he was that great. But regardless, you donā€™t walk into the side after 5-6 weeks injury unless your one of our best 5-10 players. And he ainā€™t that.

Brilliant!! :clap:t3::clap:t3::clap:t3:

Legit forgot about this bloke being on our list.

I reckon heā€™d be equally forgettable in a really good side as he is with us

Heā€™s never that bad
Heā€™s never that good

Just does his thing, mostly competently.

He could be like listed as an in during a season three years from now and I wouldnā€™t blink

No way heā€™s walking straight back in. But itā€™ll be nice to have more than 2 fit key defenders on our list for the 1st time in 2 monthsā€¦

You canā€™t keep someone on the Rookie list for that long, can you?

Martin Gleeson playing on Sam Reid, or M Brown

In like Flynn

This is a revelation yaco, why havenā€™t you mentioned this before?

That I would happily see Gleeson or Dea in the side over Brown gives you an indication of how little Iā€™m worried about Sam Reid when we play Sydneyā€¦

Sam Reid is a walking injury. Expect him to only kick 6 against us on 1 leg with a bung shoulder.

Heā€™s not much of a worry if youā€™ve got someone to mind him butā€¦

Is SAM REID any better than Chol? Iā€™m not convinced.

How long did we have to sign the top ups?

Iā€™m not sold on Brown. I donā€™t understand how players can be in the AFL system for so many years and not look ripped. He still has the same body shape he had in his first year.

You mean like Fletch?

Same way ā€¦ avoid the gym whenever possible.

Difference is that Fletch had pace and could play on smalls too.

Yes he could.
But that wasnā€™t your question.

hes a jobber. A depth player IMO. There for the odd occasions when youā€™ve got injuries or need a genuine 3rd tall defender.
