This Jason Richardson on the BBL commentary.
Commentators that act over the top annoy me.
He’s ■■■■■■ me off since the Swans won their first flag in 2005. Just one of those guys with whom I disagree on every subject.
He was on one of those morning shows. One of his friends claimed to be a rabid Swans fans, i.e. he’d seen them on TV twice, wasn’t a regular fan, and wanted to borrow Richardson’s MCC card to get to the granny, and people were telling him to do it. Don’t complain when they catch the bloke (as long as he’s not bald as a badger and wears a flat cap) and they take away your membership for life.
Very few Aussie comedians are funny. I really appreciate Sam Pang who is genuinely funny but it is a struggle after that.
I find the Aus version of Taskmaster unwatchable for that same reason…

I actually don’t mind Tom Gleeson but I agree the show is unwatchable. Everytime they make an Aussie version of a British show it is putrid. They always use the same awful hosts, the British hosts are in another league.

Chamge of topic…when someone is being interviewed and they are talking directly to the camera, and then they switch to a profile view of that person talki ng to the camera in front of them.
I dont know what it is but it annoys me as much as much as interviewing with the camera constantly shaking/moving slightly.
I’d say it’s edited that way if they did a couple of takes. They can edit them together and it doesn’t look as odd.
The shaking camera I dunno about that.
Food and drink prices at the Aus Open have been ridiculous for a very long time.
Just like at the AFL (well most sporting events) and airports, works on a principle that people will pay because they either cannot get, or CBF seeking, an alternative.
The options at the AO are pretty decent. Pricey but that’s what you expect at these things. It has always been more expensive than other places. Just like everything else you add up these though, the actual amount is so much!
You also have to view one of the worst sports of all time.
