The quickest response I ever saw from police was when they tunred on the full sirens and lights to go through a very busy intersection in Fitzroy just after the evening peak hour. They turned off the siren just after clearing the light and as I happened to be going home in the same direction I could see where they were going in such an “emergency”.
It was to the Clifton Hill MacDonalds.

Quickest response I did was someone in my team screaming their gun was being taken off them. They were about 15 mins away, my partner got us there in 3 mins.
Sure it wasn’t the ‘wink, wink’ place next door?
I always reverse park but that stems from criminal days where it was necessary to ensure a quick response
Obviously it was caused by no hands on the wheel.
To be fair, the driver was drawing a sketch at the time.

Work update. I ended up resigning from my current job to take up the new offer in the new year. I will have 6.5 weeks between gigs. I have also extended my overseas holiday by 10 days, because I can.
My idiot boss is taking over my role. I offered to do a thorough handover. She didn’t want one and said she will take over and I just need to close a few old tickets with information she wouldn’t know about. This with another 2 weeks still with me being there.
Today she messaged to say my shoes are too big to fill. No ■■■■ moron.
so glad I am leaving. I definitely made the right decision even if this new job might not be my dream job, it will no doubt be no worse than the current one.
