This was from an article in the Warrnambool Standard yesterday.
They were reporting on an accident occurring just before noon and suggested the time was approaching 12pm.
Now whatâs 12pm? We know that a minute before midnight is 11.59pm and a minute after is 12.01am. You canât tellâŚand itâs why the 24-hour clock (or, as the seppos call it, military time) should be used on all timetables and anywhere near midday or midnight. Itâs unambiguous.
And how do you do time sorts if you have an AM or PM suffix. We frequently had to sort in time order.
Midday is 1200, midnight is 0000

Iâve been loosely job hunting, as my new job is incredibly unsatisfying and boring me to death.
itâs a tale of 2 Worlds⌠1 place I applied to in Feb for a role that is legit the best fit for me, didnât get a call for an interview until a few weeks ago. I had the interview and I havenât heard anything back since.
Another place, I had seen a job ad, forgot to reply, got a cold call from a recruiter about it, had another former colleague send to me out of the blue also. So I had an interview with them today and 3 hours later theyâve already called for a second interviewâŚ
This is pretty much the same scenario as my love life.

Also consider what is best on the resume for your next role which comes with, you guessed it, more cash.
