Unfortunately I didn’t have my glasses with me and didn’t realise until later. It would seem that they have the register set up to automatically bung on the surcharge. Really poor form.

Bit like Hertz rent a car !!
If you rent at Sydney Airport, they automatically put $15 toll charge on the bill. I asked them about it and said if I requested it was taken off; and that they put it their so you could use the toll roads without any worry !!
I asked if I had not noticed this surcharge and had not used the tolls road, would it still apply. Of course, it ■■■■■■ does !!!

Go the ‘hire car’ or ‘limo’ Option.
Especially if you’re in Sydney, on par with taxi pricing, clean, usually a schmick European car, bottles of water and lollies in the back.
But how many teenage arses have been in those things? It doesn’t bear thinking about.
