I think it would be much easier to find someone to nobble in big bash than, say, Shield. There’s that many blow ins, newbies, and random guys who haven’t played with their team-mates before.

Sport is awesome still as is most things. You just have to put on a massive BS filter.

FWIW I am fine for all this corruption/drugs/cheating/gambling etc to be weeded out. I just don’t want to read/watch/listen about it. Someone else can handle it.

Like a lot of things in life ignorance is bliss.

Your Melbourne cup numbers are wrong. $700m was bet on the cup in 2013 and no doubt it would be more each year since.
It would be decades since it was as low as $6m

You’re right. The article actually says that was what was bet on the cup on Betfair only. The 47 mil figure was also for Betfair.
