Wasn’t the undertone that Vozzo saw that the new President couldn’t help but be more…proactive…in operational matters, undermining the role of CEO, so was getting the hell outta there?
And perhaps any other half-decent ceo-type saw that would be the issue, too?
If so, makes sense to shift the VP to CEO, i.e. basically cementing Welsh’s power as central figurehead (which is avoiding saying it in a way that reflects the weaknesses of this governance arrangement, i.e. dictatorship)
We’re about to find out if EFC needed a benevolent dictator all along, or if we should’ve stuck with attempting good governance for longer than two years…
