Yeah I think we go back to Woosha sitting on the bench staring into the void of Essendon failures showing zero emotion or care.

For memory, Scott’s North Melbourne sides were typically big body grind-it-out style teams.
Given our list is pretty much the opposite of that, I really wonder how he’ll adapt in the short term to our bunch of downhill skiiers.

That’s why he’s a good choice. Hird instilled a more defensive mindset in one preseason.
Can’t wait to see Brad charging down from the coaches box on Anzac Day, biceps bulging and his head ready to explode after we’re down by 38 at the first break

Oh I agree. I’m just wondering how it all will look- does his gameplan change much? Is there big list turnover? How does he adapt to the rules he came up with etc

I think Blitz should run a competition on who is the first player to cry when Scott blasts them.

Very glad Scott is coming. If you think we’re a basket case now, the Mad-dog Yze and Kook Choco would have put us into a complete hole.

Yeah I saw this on TV tonight. My take is he’s been in the process all along but wanted to keep it quiet. The whole Yze is favourite thing might be a smokescreen. The fact Scott hasn’t come out and said no - makes me think he’s right in this. Either as coach or CEO. The fact they said welsh is a Scott fan was telling for me

Jonathan Brown saying Scott would be more unlikely than likely to go for the job (on the couch).
Ralph thinks he’ll just have a chat with the club this week.
Lyon wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if Scott goes to Essendon.

It’s just reading between the lines.
From the very beginning we wanted an experienced coach. They have all pulled out, which leaves Scott.
Just needed to be confirmed that he’s interested.
