It's actually an interesting mix of top 8 teams with no one we really have the wood over recent years. I mean even someone like Richmond we always seem to end up with close results.
So who ideally would you like to see us play in the first round that will give us the best chance of winning?
Pies are seasoned finals performers.
Would rather we played Richmond or Port both of which have not played finals for a while and are not as accomplished as the Pies.
But who we play is irrelevant if we cant get some semblance of form& confidence back over the next two weeks.
I just hope to god we beat Carlton this week.

This. Fark me are there some Richmond flogs that come out of the woodwork when they perform even the smallest of accomplishments. Even if they do nothing for the next five years every time they play us we will hear about it.
And given our form and the fact half the team looks mentally and physically worn out I don't hold great hopes for us agaisnt anyone, except maybe Port, in the top 8.

I'd be happy to play Port at Etihad. I don't think there's much chance of us finishing fifth now though Happy to take on whoever, however would love to destroy Richmond in the first final in donkey years
