Woosha – final moments or finals moment?

Seriously? That would have had to have happened behind closed doors.

In small dose it is a peak stimulant. They fed it to horses to win races and in larger doses to bring down elephants, hence why is it called elephant juice

I was told he tested positive to it

WSPHU.

Our kick out strategy is laughable

Doesn’t make sense and seems extremely dangerous. You’d have to possibly have a Pharmacist type person involved at the very least for this to have been true.

Wot!

They were feeding stuff to horses for year.

There was a big red gelding that use to storm down the Flemington straight that was famous for it. West Coke Eagles Bikie Mates in the 90’s could get anything. And their coach was a pharmacist!

That said Richardson ain’t fkn around and if there are things to be fixed and people to shifted he is doing it.

why would it be concerning ?

I would think it’d be simply human nature, well except for supporters who generally have just fallen back into the good old, oh the club knows best cos they are essendon and you know they never make mistakes.

Remember how paul little got up in his many speeches and claimed essendon would become an open honest and transparent football club, how’s that working out ?

of course the players have every right to be skeptical about anything this club does.

Incorrect. Chick came out publicly saying they made them feel like they were bullet-proof when they played.

Perhaps the most frustrating part about the club’s recent history.

I’ve seen a lot of comments and theories about Essendon’s post-2000 decline, usually attributed to one or more of poor mental strength, poor fitness and physical conditioning, which results in a decade or so of poor efforts, lack of skills and a club which has routinely failed to step up in big games or have anything resembling a clear injury list by the end of the season.

When James came back at the end of 2010 he recognised all of this and did his best to rectify it. Reading between the lines of his farewell presser in 2015, as heartbreaking as it was, you could tell he was alluding to some of these issues. You could feel Bomba’s frustration after some of the losses we had in 2014 regarding the state of the group and how the players apply themselves on match-day.

I’ve got no strong opinion on Woosha, I’m grateful for the work he’s done and I feel the player driven culture that he’s trying to implement is probably the best way to pull the club out of the malaise. I’m not sure how effective his methods are though, that article earlier was rather damning.

This has confirmed to me that a lot of Essendon fans are still reading The Age.
Which I find disappointing.

Just beat me to it.

If I didn’t suspect it already, this article would go a long way toward convincing me that this football club will be in some way dysfunctional until every last person (player or otherwise) involved in the saga is gone.
Just have to keep fingers crossed that the replacements are up to snuff…

Just need to stick with something similar for over a 4 yr period.

If there is any truth to that article it certainly supports the theory that a coach should still get to choose his own assistants

Yep. Mentally probably pretty impressive. Physically not so much.

The saga is unprecedented and has no parallels. Anybody who declares what affect the saga has had on the list, and the performance of that list is only guessing.
In other words, Woosha may, or may not be doing well with this list.

Waiting for the analysis on Goodwin and the reasons for Melbourne’s tumble down the ladder.

Was just asked post game by one of commentators why Melb and Goodwin not under anywhere near the scutiny that Woosh and Hinkley are when they fighting for spot in 8

And all that was responded was they getting leeway due to injuries.
