Your favourite extreme sports clips!

Yeah I cringed at that too.

30 years on tho. Not many sports would resemble themselves 30 years ago.

Some of the current skaters and tricks are simply insane. but the ■■■■ they get them to do on Thrasher King of the Road (I think) is just pathetic.

Is it like post-Jackass type arsehattery?

I think it works like this.

They pick two teams of skaters. They have points to score doing certain challenges. Most involve skating. But then there’s heaps of stuff that would probably be bullying if you did it in a normal workplace.

I think a guy had to do a ■■■■ in his pants and then land a trick.

Another one had to ■■■■ in his own mouth.

Olympics are gonna be fun tho.

Ah ok, gotcha.

Nah, started the brand he was riding.

Worst slam ever. 15 metre drop.

Broken wrist, vertebrae, ruptured spleen, concussion, bruised lungs and liver.

Got up and walked it off.

When just getting out Alive is considered a Victory;

Devils Point Tassie (Shipsterns)

Heaviest wave in the World, & only works BIG when it’s bloody freezing.

Utter fking Madness!

Oh, and then there’s the prevalence of the Great Whites. :no_mouth:

Watching this one always gives me a Rush.

Just imagine doing THIS!

Haha the King of the road is great!

It’s essentially reclaiming skate and giving the guys an opportunity to enjoy themselves.

I mean, i personally like it.

Haha. Wing suit stuff is insane. And mostly ends up with a list of people who died in the making of the clip.

I find it beyond my acceptable levels of risk and as much as it can make some cool video, I find it pretty hard to watch.

Thought the thread title was “extreme chips”

Came here expecting clips of @theDJR eating hot chips while snowboard parachuting of a large snowy cliff.

@scotty21 Not quite the same, but not that far off either.

@hambo I’d have played this in the DJ thread, but ran out of petroleum tickets.

Older footage, but it still stacks up.

I could have sworn you would play this, it’s much more my era and style of skating:

Yeah that’s the stuff, fun times, but can’t do it anymore.

I skated probably 88 - 95? Can’t walk past a curb, rail or loading dock anymore without seeing a skateable line.
