This is one he recently captured. I told him it would make a nice belt.
He was not impressed
What snake is that Bacchus or @Mex ? A king brown?
Sheesh ā¦
Iām not as familiar with Vic snake IDs but Iām fairly sure that is a lowlands copperhead
It is in Northern Tassie near Launceston, and I think he said it was a Copperhead.
Ah the fun times when my housemate found a cute lizard in the house. Then noticed it had no legs. Turned out to be a juvenile copperhead.
Nice.
Iām sure I would enjoy it even more if it were around 1/8 that speed.
Yeah, not bad.
Many points for effort at a creative and entertaining ad.
A couple of deductions for blatant and gratuitous culture tokenism.
Iāve become obsessed with this YouTube channel over the past few weeks. Iāve probably watched 30-40 videos from it, and there are heaps more to get through.
Itās called The Why Files, and it tells stories about mysteries, conspiracies, weird phenomenon, aliens, time travel etc.
Itās just excellent story telling, and if it turns out that the story is nonsense or has been debunked, he tells you that at the very end. Until then, he lets you get immersed in the mystery.
This is a good staring point:
YouTube reaction videos are a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine.
Sometimes music, sometimes other things.
They led me to this. Virgin Rock.
A classically trained woman who hadnāt heard rock and pop.
She does Bohemian Rhapsody and Stairway, and Brothers In Arms, and I think a Tool track. And thatās cool.
She does a first listen video, followed by a āwhy this song is greatā video where she does a deep dive on it.
And all of that is cool, but sheās decided to do the complete The Wall album.
Itās one of my favourite albums of all time, and Iām completely hooked.
I donāt listen to podcasts (vodā¦casts?), but Iām addicted to this.
She started with Hey You, just as a part of her random tracks, before deciding to do the whole album from Track One.
So if youāre interested you could either start with her first first listen, or the first track on the album.
And you have the gall to criticise my Creed loveā¦
I like Michael Palmisano music reactions from a melody, guitar and singing point of view.
Also, a good podcast is Rick Rubins. The RHCP/ Frusciante ones are really cool.
I only thought you liked them.
But you love them?? Oh boy oh boy, wowee.
I usually avoid them, but I thought this one was pretty decent, and possibly not fake reaction given he was so stoned
Great song, which has been recorded by countless artists and is usually attributed to Huddie Ledbetter AKA āLead Bellyā. My favourite version is the 1986 one by Nick Cave which features Nick and Blixa Bargeld on handclaps and footstomps.
If there was any doubt about the name of the song ā¦
