Zerret I reckon. he was everywhere in the last qtr, and woulda been daisy-fresh in the umps’ minds. Hooker kicks 5 in the 2nd half instead of the 1st and he gets the 3 votes.

he def catches the eye. Also - without checking stats - he seems to run games out strongly which as I wrote earlier may also be a sig factor in getting the votes…
Goddard may have pinched votes in the first few weeks.
Yeah I don’t reckon he’ll win it. But he’s a vote getter and will always be a chance because of this. Some guys just seem to get votes.

Not getting enough kudos for mine though, but really stuck it up to the Sydney midfield. Our two contested beasts hardly had an impact in the contested ball situations, but our young gun kept us in it.

Yep and I reckon he had half of those possession from about the 20 minute mark of the 3rd quarter onwards. Was huge in our comeback
But his final clearance was poor, needed to go wider
He has shown this a bit this year, when the team needs a lift he is invariably the player to drive it. Understands that he can win the ball in the middle, provide run and drive, and go for those risky kicks.
