Barrass took a mark in front of Caddy and McGrath was close to 100 metres away from him. Pathetic.

BTW McGrath wasnā€™t on Ginni at that point in time. Maybe have a go at the player who was meant to be on Ginni.

I donā€™t want to give him the flick. I see a role for him in the team. Just not captain and just not in defense.

But I also enjoy the reactions in here by those that can criticise anyone they want but take the high ground and get defensive of anything McGrath does.

Fair call. Maybe thereā€™s a spot in the midfield for him. Would rather Nguyen or Roberts as our shutdown small backs.

Honestly, Iā€™m sick of making excuses in my head for the guy.

I wanna get brutal. I wanna break hearts. ā– ā– ā– ā–  sensitivity. The only players that may have a problem with are the very same ones that also should be let go.

I like him in the midfield but think thereā€™s too many ahead of him.

Iā€™d love to see him as a defensive forward. But unfortunately I think Kako and El Achkar are in that role.

McGrath is nowhere near the worst player. Heā€™s an easy target as captain. Does he offer more than Cox, Setterfield, McKay etc? Yeah absolutely.

Iā€™ve been a big fan of McGrath and I know he cops a lot of unfair criticism and abuse on here, but by God I wish sometimes when he gets the ball he would just kick the ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  thing as far as he can out of the backline.
