#1 Andy McGrath loves finals football (Part 1)

Can’t wait for the midfield show next year. It’s going to be epic!

He’s good a doing football.

If we don’t make the GF this year, I hope they enter Andy in the half time sprint. he will have a great chance.

McKenna would have him covered

McKenna is quick, but Andy is an elite level track athlete.

My money would be on McGrath.

If the race is run over a total distance of 6 metres, we should put Tippa in again.

Otherwise, Orazio.

Race needs hurdles so 1) he wins and 2) someone face-plants.

He’s easily our best hurdler since Tim Watson.

Is Andy the first Number 1 draft pick to play in a final in his first year?

You from the future bro?

I doubt it.

If not beforehand, … Hawthorn & Geelong must have had one or more each during their recent successful stints

Without thinking about it I would say Cyril 08

But not in their 1st years.

There’ll be someone who went from wooden spoon to finals the following year. I think.

Derp, … misread the Numero Uno pick bit.

Took it as 1st pick.

That actually makes it a real good question…

Connor? He’s quick AF.

West coast are the last team to do it, but because of GC concessions they didnt get pick 1.

How often has a wooden spooner made finals the next year? Brisbane 1998 to 99 would be one, but I don’t think Des Headland played finals that year

Yep sorry I miss read the number 1 pick
