So can Paul Connors.
McGrath is what it looks like when a top level talent believes his coaches when they say it’s more important to practice defensive positioning than dribble kick goals from the pocket.
Running, positioning, disposal, effort, does it all Complete package. That gives us two of them.
I reckon Smith makes it 3
McGrath manages his manager. Loyal bloke who ain’t going nowhere.
I think there’s a little bit of his psyche that likes losing contests. Just gives him an opportunity to crack in at 2nd & 3rd (and 4th & 5th) efforts. Just loves getting stuck in, such a natural midfielder. I can sorta see why they were tentative to try him in midfield last year off a limited pre-season, the guy doesn’t know how to give up.
That passage of play on the back flank in the first made me weak at the knees. Just loves the contest the kid. Born winner
Midget hbf’er wtf
Can someone Gif this. I need new material.
Would have liked to see McGrath go back and slot that set shot. I suspect it was probably right on his limit though. Was a good pass to Green, maybe I am just annoyed that Green missed.
+1 for that play in the first
wwoooooowwwwzors
He’s only played 22 games? Farrrrrkkkkkkkkkkkk

I just watched the last quarter again. I can’t believe I wanted the Clug. This bloke is insanely good. He’s the 4th quarter specialist.
Did I mention how good he is?
I was leaning towards clug as well, and I’m sure he’ll be good, but this guy is a natural talent, athlete, leader, competitor & learner. He’s basically another Zac Merrett IMO.
Ditto
Stupid question. I know.
But
Will he end up better than Zerrett?
- Zerrett and raz are my favourite players.
maybe? but i don’t think mcgrath bulks up much more. zachs a ■■■■■■■ meatball after being a solid bean sprout before.
also zach seems to have a special kind of determination and desperation to not be ■■■■.
