You know what’s innately unfair about highlights reels? You know all kicks are goals and all touches will be good - no matter who it is. Accordingly they lose some of their impact. If Lav or Orazio or any of our players did virtually ANY of those things in a hotly contested game there’d be a thread dedicated to the one moment for a fortnight.

Pretty sure CJohns said late last year that he’s 194 now and that came from his family (possibly Mother). Scooter is pretty close to the family I think.
Yes I have got to know Aaron;s mum well over the year as she sent me a message of thanks for sponsoring him through our Facebook group. Since then we have talked back and forth and she is a great woman and friend. She mentioned they did themselves a height check and it was in her own words 193 and 3/4
He still is behind the group in fitness and needs another big 6 weeks coming up to get to the level team requires (lost 4-5 kilos however). Needs to worlk on his disposal as he can get lazy with disposal and sometimes decision making. So still a way to go but boy his strengths are elite.
Imagine that , a second year player who doesn’t have elite disposal by foot, and some doubtful decision making.
Show me a second year player who didn’t have those sort of issues.

His kicking improved after a few years and his goal kicking was pretty good particularly under pressure.
His ball drop initially was poor but it improved. I still remember the goal he kicked in the comeback in the 93 preliminary final and thought it was dodgy. He kicked the goal though.

No doubt about it. My point, which probably wasn’t made clearly, was that his awareness and decision making meant his kicks often found targets in good positions. He was also a very long kick, and an excellent snap for goal. But he had no left side to speak of.
Mercs, Bewick and Rioli were standouts with their kicking from that era.
