With Cal talking about 2 or 3 other clubs talking about making a bid before pick 9, you’d hope it was for sensible football reasons, not getting revenge for 20+ years of Dodoro hatred.
“We’ll show Dodoro! Let’s bid on Kako - if he was still employed by the club he’d be fuming”!
Pronounced Caco
Probably more likely Dodoro encouraging Silvagni to bid on him to mess with us.
Thanks for the vid.
Questions from someone who has not paid any attention this year.
- how are his hands generally? Doesn’t look massively clean in that vid, but gets away with it. Hopefully that’s just that day?
- how is his kicking depth. Only one kick that looks to have much depth in that video (the one the small marks over the back), whereas there are multiple kicks that come up short from inside 50 (both set shots and in general play).
Just doing my but to down talk him for when SOS comes here to read the profile.
I think in this game he was probably excited and nervous given the big stage and that effected him. He might not be as whistle clean as some, but he regularly snags difficult crumbs or half volleys without an issue, and he’s a strong mark for his size who doesn’t double grab so I’m not concerned about it.
I think there are times when he gets into his move before he’s fully secured the ball. Its a correctable flaw and not a bad thing really as I love how he’s always thinking ahead and has the confidence to try and be audacious.
Kicking isn’t elite, it has to be said. What I would say is that he regularly laces out targets over short to medium distances, racked up extremely high score assist numbers in the Talent League. Its when he has to strive for the extra distance in excess of 40m he loses his form and accuracy.
Thanks
Everything we need.
Thanks for the post
That pick up and dribble goal was great.
I hope to see lots of that over his career.
I believe is K’AKO
Cake-Oh or Kay-Ko?
OT Genesis - KAKO
Cake hole.
NEVERRRR
I reckon he’s a ripper. I’d be looking hard at him if i had pick 3. Kid looks really good.
I’d be looking at him in the pick 15-25 range if it wasn’t for the hereditary conditions and the pee incident.
And it’s KAKO, not KAKO.
Kako needs to do a Curnow.
First time I’ve watched any footage so a question for those in the know
Does he usually play as a stay at home crumbing small forward? as he seemed to be playing up the ground roaming around like Gresham does, (not what we need).
Goals out of nowhere and head high tackles every time he goes near it like wizard Watson was my understanding.
