We traded pick 9 not pick 1 ffs. And got overs
Won’t have any more pressure on him than any of our other first round draft picks (not to say that isn’t plenty)

Yeah slept on the deal had another read and think its not good at all.

Reckon we thought we had to do it when we shopped Laverde,Shiel and Stringer and just got :cricket: crickets in return.

Yep. Perkins rotating through, Gresham or Guelfi starting, the other one off the bench.

2MP or Bryan depending on how Pete goes next year.

But yeah, get as many games into Kako as possible - he’ll be a ripper and there’s a spot there for him.

He must play one full vfl season and perhaps debut as the sub in his second.

So he gets properly developed.

How does the bid matching system thingy work now?

If we had pick 9 it would have gotten shifted back but now we picked up a bunch of late 40s-50s picks, isn’t the bid still going to eat up our foremost pick anyway?

Essendon: 28, 31, 40, 46, 54, 65

Assuming the Kako bid if it comes between 10-20 will now eat up 28+31?
So what is the purpose of those later picks? Do they get shuffled forward?
