Fast becoming my favourite player…just based on the pure effort he brings.
0 tackles but by god he chased a lot of North players and forced them into getting rid of the ball quicker than they wanted.
Just kept running.

His ability to absorb contact and ensure his hands are free to dispose is insane for a first year bloke.
Definitely has “it”
I was really encouraged by his performance despite that obvious blue. I wouldn’t slaughter him at all, certainly don’t want him to go into his shell. Next time he just needed to give that over the top earlier.
He is going to be a little star
He is a geniune small forward. Front and square crumber, elusive, scares the opposition as they are always nervous about where he is and his ability to pounce and break away. A lot of what they call small forwords today are midget full forwards, eg Cody Weightman who is always flying for marks instead of being at the fall of the ball. Kako executes his role perfectly. He will continue to improve as well.
He’ll learn from his mistake late 3rd, otherwise a great game. Progressing well at the min
Doesn’t lose his feet, already breaking tackles.
Archie really let him down by missing the sealer because that was wonderful play by kako
I know he’s lower to the ground than most, but it’s the keeping his feet that’s noticeable. He’s always powering around contests, never out of an opportunity.
I’m not too fussed by that error. I want forwards who back themselves to kick the goals.
This kid will be a star, and the new “Walla” to the next gen of supporters.
A reason to come to the footy and to support the Bombers. Go well!
We need another one of him. ASAP
And Kako said so in his post game interview. Was hilarious.
It may not be this year, but one day hes gonna have a game where he goes ballistic and it will be glorious
That is hilarious, haven’t seen that interview
The speed, reaction times, evasiveness are both thrilling and super impactful in equal measure. Goes in hard wanting to win the ball and dish off to a team mate or, when the opportunity present, snag a goal. As others have remarked… such a joy to watch.
Yes, the work he’s been doing in training with Ben McKay on this is paying dividends.
Geez he’s great to watch. He’ll learn from his stuff up. He’s a shining light for the club and the fans.
Was a lot quicker than I thought he was when he put the foot down through the middle.
Already our most exciting small forward by some distance.
Kako - sweid - huss > Myers - close - stengle
I’m a bit torn at Zach’s visible upset reaction to this incident.
On one hand, it’s good to instil a team first behaviour to a young player. On the other hand, we want him to continue to take on the game and gains confidence from that run - I hope Zach’s negative response doesn’t put him off too much.
