He did well after a bad start. Was far from our worst day.

For a half back he plays well on full forwards
I was at the game and Ridley played on Gray
He was Georgiades a lot, well trailling behind him
Was on the floor again in the first two seconds to allow a goal but otherwise competed bravely in a defence that was getting hammered from all angles.
Actually hit the ball at his highest point today which is an improvement for him

Regardless of his preferred role, if he’s going to be an AFL player, he’s gonna have to be able to defend. Maybe not the number 1 key forward, but he’s gotta be capable of defending against 2nd string key forwards, at least.
There were some good signs on that front today.

Better so far but having said that saints entries have been poor and not that many of them so has not had to defend as much
If he can get his defensive game right I will more than happily change my opinion completely of him

He seems to be timing his jumps really well. I think that is a good sign.
Looks so much better with BZT taking the biggest forward.
