We have zero depth and he gives us coverage in two areas of the ground, defence and wing. He is a mature body and he has played ok in the last few games and for me he gets another year. I can see that and still not rate him at all.

We’ve played North and Adelaide last 2 weeks; 18th and 16th.
North’s offensive pressure was putrid in the first half especially. Neither team are particularly physical. Imagine Cutler on the G in September!!!
Give me a Durham type, or a hard nut rookie, any day of the week before Cutler.

We just don’t have enough depth to get rid of him
I thought he looked serviceable at half back today (and last week)…but let’s not kid ourselves he is going to find it tough to get another contract from us.

I don’t care if he isn’t given a new contract. He has played pretty well the last 2 weeks, and if he continues in this form his future will and should be reconsidered. I wonder how much of his new form is a result of a vote of confidence being given in him from the coach. Regardless of the reason, he has gone through something of a transformation, although it remains to be seen if he can continue to impact games, and even improve.

He’s obviously about the last player on the list but given how far down we’ve had to delve into our mid stocks we really need him ATM. What I would say at this point is that the difference between him this year and him last year is in line with the rest of the team, at least he’s now a player who looks as though he has some idea about what he’s meant to be doing.

Credit to Truck and all those coaching and in match committee. Stuck with mantra of rewarding the effort and improvements.
