I’m only guessing but I think we definitely would have offered more money than what Carlton offered. That’s why Carlton let him go for next to nothing. From the outside looking in that’s the problem with Carltons list too many highly paid players they can’t afford to keep good B graders, they have to prioritise which ones to keep.
Pendlebury has the highest CBA% at the pies, he will be in the centre.
He didnt leave for money, he left for opportunity.
Yeah, but I still think we would have offered him more money. For no other reason than he is worth more to us than he was to Carlton .
Ye we probably did, it wasnt why he left though.
Yes he set up the goals, very dangerous forward of centre.
He finds space, opens up the play with his vision and always hits a target
Well, sure thats a given. I will watch carefully, I still don’t see him as a coal face player, he might attend the CB but tends to wait for the ball to come out rather than grovel around at the feet of the ruckman. I guess we will know the answer at about 5pm tomorrow.
They started tagging Parish with Dunkley and none of our other midfielders stood up, that was the game sadly
Caldwell came out firing then carked it as was underdone
A 17 year old Hobbs would have been handy…
How do you figure?
I was just being silly
Indeed: what tree does “Hobbs wood” come from?
I think he will lift tomorrow next level
I thought inside mids weren’t allowed to be good kicks?
Will is easily one of our better and more reliable users through the middle, he’s one of the few to lower his eyes and spot up inside 50 targets regularly
Good grief, that’s pathetic and i can’t figure how Swype to text landed there
Has been my favourite this year but he fumbled at crucial times today in the fourth where we needed clean hands, we missed Merrett’s clean combination with Parish.
Seen today why he hasn’t made it at 2 previous clubs
Terrible disposal
Jeez the last qrt of pies and first half of this game have been ordinary from setterfield. Bad case of the fumbles and terrible disposal, just handballs missing targets by a margin and just fumbles and turnovers at pivotal moments.
