IF he ever comes home it won’t be to Port

Never one to spruik mail and my history will show that. He will be at port next year.ill happily delete my account if it doesn’t eventuate. Worst kept secret among the playing group at port

Given he’s contracted for the next two years maybe you should explain just how that piece of pessimistic speculation will occur?
Given Port is investing in youth, half their players are reaching retirement age / outside our target age range and consequently they won’t give up a first round pick & have no trade bait either (they’ll want a first rounder for Wines) the reality is you’re transferring your frustration with injuries to a psychological diagnosis.

Hopefully the fact that Wines won’t be at Port is the second-worst kept secret then…

Revisit in October :+1:

Thread set to percolate leading up to tonight’s game.

It’s Aceman verses Boffah

Ace says: never Port
Bof says: Port next year

Fair enough, very different to what I’ve heard but guess we will have to wait and see. His friends and family still say he is happy with us and that if he does go home it would only be to the Crows

I would’ve completely agreed up until about 2 weeks ago. Anyways, as you said we will have to wait and see.

If he leaves that’s no good but if we are negotiating a trade on the back of the first stretch of bad footy in his career, that almost sucks as much.
We all know that it’s due to injury but still.

What do you think changed 2 weeks ago?
Even last night I was still hearing that he is happy with us. Only way I can see things changing is if the club decide to overhaul the list completely and throw Fanta and Francis up as trade bait. From what I heard last night neither are high on Port’s radar, they are into Lukosius and Hately big time and those two are their main priorities. A few of the Central blokes reckon Hately has one foot out the door at GWS

I’d trade for their first rounder. His muscles are made of soggy spaghetti.

Hatley I have heard aswell, maybe a long term replacement for a frustrated wines?? Who knows,
In regards to what’s changed I’m not sure anything has for him, personally I didn’t give it the time of the day and still don’t want to but the person it came from has a very good finger on the pulse. Maybe a ■■■■ take but I doubt it.

Have heard Melbourne are after Wines. Their pick 2 would allow Port to get Lukosius

That would seem strange. Exactly what Melbourne’s one paced midfield doesn’t need.

Your account that you’ve had for 8 months? I think an IP ban would be better.
