Rest him. Do everything possible to get him freer of movement for finals.

It’s hard to judge how well he played by watching TV, but I noticed him more than any of his other recent matches.

No amount of rest will make his injury any better or give him better movement.
If anything he is probably better off with a bit of continuity

This…he played ok last night, must now build his fitness for finals, he will play his role better than anyone else in the team and despite his injury will get better as he continues to regain match fitness IMO
Not just fitness but his touch aswell. Did a couple of nice things that you just can’t practice. If he can get a goal or two a game with 20 pressure acts and has a hand in 4-5 goals that’s about the best we can hope for currently

i must be in the minority who thought he looked a bit freer last night and looked like he was moving a little bit better.
none of the forwards really had outstanding games, they just did their bit, raz being one of them.

I don’t think he looks disinterested. There were a lot of times where he is the guy patting a teammate on the head with the attaboy. I think that demonstrates that he is still emotionally engaged.
But he can hardly move, and is having bugger all influence on the game. He is trying to halve his contests rather than knowing that everything he touches can turn to gold.
I do hope we get to see him in red and black again after the surgery. More than that, I’d really like to see our forwardline fully fit. I feel like we are being cruelly robbed of seeing something of football legend.
