Better play hard ball with him.

If we lose joe and Raz we are soooooo ■■■■■■

Adam Tippa

possibly Butler

That story explains the manager dump.

No way a manager would advise a client to do that, you could believe a scenario where the manager was encouraging him to stay based on losing serious credibility after a player did that to a club. It would seriously impact his ability to negotiate in the future. Hence he may have sacked Fantasia rather than the other way around.

It’s such a pity that the two blokes wanting to leave are coming off their worst ever seasons with their trade value at it’s lowest. Makes things difficult.

everyone got so salty when mcgowan dropped the story mid year.

Smoke = fire

So, he’s basically gonna fk over the club by taking the cash up front, and now going to SA on more coin than what he could earn with us for the next few years?

FK OFF

It is, but it is offset by the fact that both are contracted and want (by all reports) to get to a specific destination.

Doesn’t matter the years that they’ve each had, it puts us in a very strong position, provided that we would be willing to say no to a trade and hold onto them next year (which I expect we would).

not really a pity. The clubs interested are deliberate in the timing of their approach as theyre trying to snag a bargain.

player asks for a trade > negotiations start > Bombers refuse lowball offer > media shames Essendon for being “hard to deal with” > deal gets done for unders OR deal falls though

Cash in now before his body breaks down again next year.

If that article is true, then it’s more proof that the game is seen as a job, not a love for a club or the sport itself.

But we knew that anyway I suppose.

Losing daniher and fantasia in the same trade period would be the absolute worst case scenario. The club may literally be burnt down

I used to think following this club was a tragedy but now I realise it’s a comedy.
