Twomey is reporting one offer saw Adelaide put up its first-round pick this year AND next year to Essendon for pick 13, with a bit going back the other way.
But the Bombers were determined to pick up Sharp, and they brought him to the club along with Sullivan Robey and Jacob Farrow on night one of the draft.

Awesome pick up. I was a little shattered when we grabbed Farrow. Wanted Sharp or Taylor there.
Club must have known Sharp would still be on the board after the Dees picks.
