I don’t get it.

He played yesterday - he had no follow up efforts gave up too easily in the contest and hardly works at all. Really a poor footballer and must be delisted.

I will check back in my footy records since 1962, but reckon you may be correct.
Though I reckon there have been others that got to 100 games only because the years they played in we had such poor teams.
I did a list of those who played 100 to 120 games, and Archie is probably top of the list, though many were before my time, so cannot be totally sure. It was a toss-up between him and Alwyn Davey actually., but Alwyn probably gave us more joy.
Alwyn was much much better.
Players like Hennemann were obviously garbage but they got the games over a lot of years whereas Perkins would average 18-20 games a year
He was poor again yesterday, another one that looks totally disinterested. I think we all just have to accept that maybe this is what he is and it won’t get better. Definitely see if we can get something,anything for him and move on

Agree he was poor, but he had put together a solid month of footy before this game.

It’s not personal.
Favouritism kept him out of the spotlight, along with injuries to others. He’s had a dream run. Criticism of Perkins is well overdue.

Either everyone is fair game, or nobody is.
Overdue? No. He has copped plenty of criticism in due course and a timely manner, most of it deserved.

I’ve got no issue with questioning a player’s football on a footy forum. Just pointing out bomberjez’s hypocrisy because he’s always having a moan about criticism of Tsatas’ game, yet his critique of other players is often personal. A supporter continually implying a player is a coward is too far IMO.
