Nothing wrong with saying they expect more from a player that’s decent.
Not saying they’re even in the same league but Petracca was a good player for the Dees, and then he twigged onto the importance of the AFL lifestyle and lifted his game even further.

This thread is now a disgrace. How ■■■■■■■ entitled and shallow have we become as a collective when we slag off and denigrate a supposed " one of our own" based on an equally putrid and rancidly pathetic anonymous rumour elsewhere.
There are real people, in the real world, who suffer for the bullshit we think we’re entitled to voice under the happy security of our own anonymity. Literal rumour isn’t a green light to start tearing into real people, and nor is “if true” a satisfactory and exculpating mitigator.

I think @Bacchusfox mentioned he may have been carrying an injury? If so, does he require surgery? He did seem to lack a bit of zip in the last games.

I know it’s trade season and the thing that drives it is rumour and speculation, but some of the pumping of this stuff is like tabloid press. Unfortunately many are gullible and take it as read, meaning it becomes almost fact. It’s gutter stuff in the main.
