Didn’t think things could get more ■■■■■■ at this club, yet here we are. Lav was strangely our most durable defender and we didn’t want him. It is a truely stupid and also incredibly unlucky footy club. Hope he makes it back ok.

You mean Lav the bloke who didn’t play more than 10 games in any of his first 6 seasons on the list? The lesson here is that players can go from injury prone to durable if we are patient enough. Unfortunately like many, our patience is wearing thin.

Yes, that guy. First half of last year aside, he barely missed a game after being repurposed as a backman. Playing good footy right now in a team with structure and system. I’m sure he misses being part of an under siege Essendon defence.

ACLs are notorious for re-injury, we aren’t the only club to have that happen. How many operations did Alex Johnson and Daniel Menzel have? There was a young player for the Dees who did his ACL for the second time on the weekend. It happens a lot.
