This might have been answered somewhere above but where is this kid at? Does he look any good in VFL? Will he be expected to be ready to play AFL next year?
Very much so, in my opinion deserved a few games through out the season.
Will be exciting to see him put a bit more bulk on but so far the signs are good
One (very) positive aspect is that he is a very good kick. If we can replace Hepp, Kelly and potentially Lav with better kicks out of defence, it will certainly help our ball movement.
Hed better get ready to play a fair bit of senior football next year, especially if Laverde goes
At times looked great.
Most of the time looked like a talented but raw kid. Seen a lot worse form get rewarded with a debut.
Heās coming along nicely, but Iād rather get a good look at Weideman.
Lock him in the gym and get him bulked up.
Same not sure why we have only played the weed for a handful of games, i mean its not like his had enough chances for me.
May explain why Lav could be traded.
As long as it is a look at him as he walks out never to return, than l agree.
This guy seems to me like just about the lowest profile, under the radar player on the list.
Iām a fan and even I forget he exists at times.
Iād love to know how the club rates him internally and just how confident they are in him making it and if so, what type of mix do they see working best with him down back. The fact that we re-contracted him for another couple of years says a fair bit I suppose.
I saw this photo on the club Facebook today though and youāve got to say, he really does look like an AFL player now. A real specimen!!! (Insert Stallionās gif here).
I know youāll need to be dragged kicking and screaming but give him a taste next season please B Scott.
Got all the right skills to be a good solid afl player itās all about size and strength from here
Yes heās an enigma night he! Nobody talks about him, heās just hanging around.
He still looks like an absolute stick
Near certainty to play senior footy next year I reckon.
Iād be shocked if he got a game
I would be stunned if he didnāt mature into becoming the Ying for Z Reidās Yang
Finished 2nd in the VFL B&F and another off season/pre season to continue to develop physically, which is clearly evident from the above photo.
Heāll play ahead of Lav when required.
Iād be shocked if zreid played a single game in the seniors.
Heāll injury him self in the pre game warm up
