My friend completely tore ACL + MCL with a partial PCL and walked himself off the ground.

Thought he did well today, was so looking forward to him playing some games this year, life so unfair but he will be back.

The game can be cruel sometimes.
Pretty innocuous incident too.
Wonder with the step up in pace from VFL he’s subconsciously gone to change direction before actually landing and that’s what has done him in.

I think the pace of AFL football gets a lot of new players - especially talls. Fast paced, they’re often contesting in packs and traffic. I hope Lewis is ok, and if our for a year, got to back him in.
