The tigers had 5 ACLs by June last year. Not sure where they ended up.

Man you gotta feel for the guy, finally get your shot and bang. See ya next year Hayesy bigger and better.

I have my many frustrations with Brad, but this is where I do feel for a coach. Lost his two main ruckman for the whole season 6 days apart. Loses his best defender. Does the right thing for once and gives a good kid a go to fill the hole, then loses him straight away too. I’d be filthy haha

Terrible news for the young man. Looked pretty good until he went down. Hope the club gets around him.

Looked at home out there. Great defensive efforts.
A few great chases he never gave up on. Good use of the ball.

Now looking at being 3.5 years into his career with 1 game to his name.

Bryan finally gets his chance. Knee
Hayes finally gets his chance, knee.
Draper in career best shape, Achilles
Edwards gets his chance, knee.
Hunter looked like getting his chance, knee
On top of blokes like Parish and Ridley missing massive chunks to injury.
Its ■■■■■■.

Ok I’m spiralling now.

“His leg is still attached so that’s a good sign.”

The MCL and the ACL are both ligaments.

No ice and walking is not a good sign. It is nothing. Many who do their ACL have no trouble walking shortly afterwards. Often off the ground.

You are applying ice no more or less freque tly after doing an MCL than an ACL.

The MOI is the most common MOI for an ACL.

Shattering. Gutted for the poor lad because he’s had to do the hard yards in the VFL, and he was completely at home tonight. He’s really filled out well. ■■■■. I don’t know if you can do it every game, but a backline with McKay, Reid and Hayes looked so solid behind the ball. No surprise Prior plays his best game of the season and Red Dog was superb too off the back flanks.

Absolutely gutted for Hayes. Just not fair. But honestly we must be cursed. Our rehab group will be bigger than the main group

Better than if he did it in the VFL this week, that would have been absolutely devastating.
At least he got to debut, get a feel for it, believes he is up to it, so can hit the rehab with more belief.

So unfair. He’ll come good

At least he did it in the AFl, not like Sam Draper who was set to debut the following week, pre acl injury.

Might mean Lav gets another year as insurance ??

FFS.

Thought he was playing very well.

Best wishes to the young fella, we know you can play.

At least he will have some decent company in the LTI recovery group.

I’m staying positive. Hopefully it’s a lower grade strain or tear
