Shades of Taylor Walker and Jonathan Brown. Big calls but reads it well, clean by foot and a strong mark. How did this monster slide as far as he did. I know they have been spruiking a very deep draft but fark he looks every bit a top #15 pick in the highlights Iāve been able to find on him.
Wreaks of a bit of Rosa/Vosso WA connection with this kid. How did the Eagles not take him. Fark em his ours now. Not only does he look like he can play, I highly doubt anyone is going to ā ā ā ā with this guy when heās done 2-3 pre seasons.

His contested marking looks like an area to improve on. Mind you, heād have gone top 10 and no chance to land with us if that was a stand-out feature of his game.

I increasingly see the role of talls up forward as simply to compete and bring the ball to ground, marking is a bonus.
The cost of playing talls is that they can get exposed on the rebound / turnover - think Pete Wright on Mac Andrew.
A big competitive guy who finished sixth in agility testing in a strong draft? Sounds ready made for the modern game. The fact that he can kick as well makes me honestly shocked that he slipped that far.
