Yeh, he did a 40m left foot pass under pressure near the boundary line that was an incredible high-end skill moment for a 200cm guy. Perfectly hit his team mate on the chest. His ball use lately is becoming more consistent which is telling me that his concentration and application over 4 Qtrs is improving.

If he doesn’t get a run this year he will be back to Perth in a flash.
My understanding is he is actually highly rated internally as far as talent. Welshy loves him in a conversation I had with him. He is still only 19 years old at 200cm. Very early days

No yet. McKay has this odd issue of having moments that pull your hair out but then again he never gets more than 2-3 goals kicked on him.

Would have been for one of the two off the play free kicks he gave away. Offensively he did some nice things but defensively he was poor, and would have been roundly criticised if he did them at AFL level.
A lot of promise, but If he is going to be a defender at AFL level, he has a long way to go

Could the development be sort of like what they used to do with keys back in the day when they’d give them a run at backline to learn off the forward etc or is it a long term thing to make him a key back?
Yeh I think his best work will be higher up the ground myself
