I would love to see more, but l guess there is no more vision to be found. Strange to watch it in total silence.
It looks as though it was made for some sort of news broadcast, perhaps a newsreel to be shown in cinemas. That would explain why it seems to concentrate more on the “event” nature of the game rather than the game itself. You can imagine the voiceover commentary:
“In Melbourne, Australian Rules Football is almost a religion! On Saturday, Preliminary Final Day, Melburnians from all walks of life flocked to the Melbourne Cricket Ground to watch two rival teams, Essendon, known as the Bombers, and …”.
