Yeah I agree, he was beaten but not considerably and their ruck did his best work against Wright. He really doesn’t deserve most of the crap written on here. He really needs to be fitter so he can stay on the ground for longer. As for the Bryan couldn’t be any worse comments, I just don’t agree. Bryan got beaten by a good VFL ruckman today what do you think would happen against a good AFL ruckman?

I have been critical off him in the past for flaming our mids by ignoring them running past for the handball. But he has very clearly been instructed he needs to look for the handball first, and he is very clearly doing that almost every time, kudos for that.
He’s also very clearly worked on, and improved his kicking. Which whilst it is not great, has gone from diabolical to mostly acceptable. Obviously his miss from the square 2 weeks ago not falling in that category.
We are definitely worse without him in the ruck. Be nice to upgrade his position, but not sure where that’s coming from anytime soon, and it’s certainly not the biggest of our problems.
