Farrow had highly rated kicking. There were lots of players in this draft with highly rated disposal, it was a good draft for those skills.
Lindsay was just meant to be exceptional.

So when will he request a trade back to WA?
West Perth lad same a Gerreyn and Prior. Played with some of the Bewick clan over there as well probably good mates with Cooper and Hunter and wouldn’t be surprised if he knows Koby as well. Wonder if Boris Bewick has had him around for tea?
Hopefully these connections, the fact he seems a level headed type and is coming through with some other young guns is enough to keep him here.

I’m fairly confident Sharp will be a 200 game player.
The only real thing I’m concerned about with him is his speed, but I think he can overcome that.
I’m supremely confident Robey is going to be a stud too but he is the one who is most likely to either be great or just an average player.

Well we have absolutely nailed selecting Farrow.
At draft time I think was kind of the biggest shock for us in the first round.
This will sound a bit strange, but I was surprised we picked him but at the same time thought he looked to be the best of our pickups.

Well yeah we thought we were going to pick Xavier Taylor I think.
a lot of phantoms had that. Or Sharp with then taking someone else after the dees nabbed Taylor.

Yeah but I like Farrows marking and disposal more.
Be interesting to see how XT goes - he looked good too.
Tim Watson and Mcgrath both likened Robey to LDU.
I’m hoping for Someone who is a bit more of a goal kicker than LDU.
but I guess it helps you imagine what sort of midfielder he would be like.
I was unsure who we’d pick. I also didn’t think we needed a halfback and liked Dovaston/Pickett on a needs basis. I loved Grjl too, but didn’t think we’d pick him. Things also became a bit up in the air once Robey slipped to us.
I think we need blokes who can kick the footy and Farrow can do that.
