A ruckman is only as good as his midfield.
Bellcho is worth every penny 2 years ago. Too ■■■■■■■ bad he went backwards.I rate him and in no possible way was or he is wort that much, no ruckman is. Fremantle has had the most dominant ruckman ever probably due to his size and done SFA.
Get he was probably in demand last time he renewed but still like others if true, 700 thousand is way overs for a ruckman any ruckman.
but also agree with Jbomber just another case of mismangement of an injured player. seriously the medical staff need a clean out, and the coaches need to be told to stop ■■■■■■■ playing injured players.
I would have liked the guy to do really well. Its wretched bad luck, after such bad form. I just think that maybe , actually, even though he is tall. he is not a ruckman but a KPF.Not mobile enough
If he is not mobile enough to be a KPF, he is not mobile enough to be a ruckmanHe is not mobile enough to be a farking statue
L.O.L
TBC has just learned that holding out for more coin is a high risk game. Probs has reduced his market value by having such a poor season and now yet another season ending injury.
I’d rather us recruit/trade for two young tall blokes, even as rookies, and get some fitness into Giles than pay overs for TBC.
We need another ranga badly and Giles can play that role as well.
$700k? Really?
Guess I should stop hanging ■■■■ on fark carlton over how much they are paying Robbie Warnock…
I should head down to the club, I’m tall, might get half a mil.
T-Bell will find other clubs - Anything he gets over 450K he should thank his lucky stars.
Forward/2nd ruck please.
He’s an Improvement on McKernan or Giles.
Thread lacking use of the word laconic.
sigh

I can still see teams being in the market for a mature ruck-man. Yes he’s had a shocker of a year, but there is potential there. He’s only 26 and there are a few teams in need of an immediate second ruck/mature option as backup. Mumford going down has basically ruined any chance of GWS making finals. I mean, this time last year I would’ve said Shaun McKernan is the worst AFL listed player at the moment. Now, I’m excited to see him play this week & think he genuinely offers something that we have lacked for a while. I’m sure there’s interest from Brisbane too, Leunberger is as much of a forward as I am, but 28 goals in 2013 from Bellchambers, he’d likely end up their leading goal kicker if he managed to repeat that. He’s got the skill set, but for whatever reason, whether it be confidence, work-ethic, attitude (& injury) he hasn’t been able to replicate his best. There will be teams willing to take that risk, maybe not for 700k, but there would definitely be demand.
If he’s on $700k, boot him off and then use that money and the money Chappies on to hunt Danger.
$700k is larceny!
If he was on $700k I can now see why Ryder chased coin elsewhere.
On the bright side, he'll free up some serious cap space when he asks for a trade and even on current form, we'd probably still be able to package him up with some decent quality steak knives for a late 1st rounder. No chance
The Tigers parted with Pick 28 for Shaun Hampson - Anything is possible.
Good point.

+ SUPER
Negative. AFL contracts are inclusive of Super.
AFL 2015 Ruck RatingsCan’t imagine Tommy can demand much given his rating on this list… then again, how much can you really take from this list given Giles is rated higher?
Yeah, but what about his ‘supercoach’ points right?
