Absolute myth. The majority of SA guys that head to Victoria dont ever come back. SA players are happy to go anywhere, the few that have returned in recent years are from Brisbane and it was the basket case club that drove them out not the location. You will find most just want to play at the highest level and are very loyal

Yeah, big fan of Milera. Really showed some class at the champ without getting huge numbers, was hoping he’d slide a bit and we could snaffle him with a later pick. Looking a bit unlikely now…

If there is one thing that Doddoro rates, it’s young blokes that barrack for Essendon.

I guess it almost eliminates the go-home factor and knowing they aren’t wanting to leave after 2 years, as it’s a dream come true.

Don’t think GC are after Francis which is why they’re considering trading down a few spots in the draft. They’re probably after Curnow or something. If we get 5 and top 3 stay as is then there’s every possibility we could end up with both. Long way to go before that though.

Spoke to a guy today who follows each and every draft in depth and has friends who scout for the giants. Could not say enough good things about Francis, reckons he really should go top 2 (he won't) but thats how much he ratea him Also thinks Schahe will be a bust

I’ve mentioned it before but i know an AFL scout and he rates Francis the 2nd best player in the draft.

If Disco and co rate him the same way and he’s there at our pick then we will take him as they aint going to go with a “needs” pick (Parish) if they clearly rate someone much higher with such a high pick.

Best player first, needs after.
