Not enough Clayton Oliver. Going early on him turning into an out and out gun.
Although, he’s one of the only former Carlton players I like as a person and respect as a truly great footballer, we should try and sign up his son, Jack Silvagni! I would love to see the look on Carlton supporters faces, including the Fitzratprick!
He did have a 6 goal game in the Champs didn’t he?
I also reckon the blose faithful would absolutely spew if he wasn’t picked up by them, let alone going on to flourish at a bitter enemy. I am not sure how good he is but I would like a bit of pressure on them to commit F/S to him and take up a draft pick would be nice.

Yeah. We’ll train and develop him up for a couple of years and then hand him back to his dad.
It's a good year to have a few early second round picks, I reckon. Top-level talent maybe fades a bit by pick 6 or so (excluding the academy blokes), but there's a lot worth looking at in the next 20 or so, and it's reasonably even. Bonner is one who'll be in there, but so are the McKay boys, Partington, Milera, Clarke, Tucker, Oliver, Gresham, Collins, Skinner, Crocker, Clark, some others.
This is where foggy"s scenario is increasingly appealing to me. An extra low 20’s pick and a 1st round banked for next year. If we can’t get 5, I can live with this one.
FROM THE RAGE…
Darcy Parish (27/07/1997, 181cm, 73kg. Geelong Falcons)
Medium midfielder/forward/defender
AFL biography: Medium midfielder/forward who reads the game exceptionally well. A quick and agile player with elite decision making ability. Prolific ball winner that hunts the ball and has the capacity to make something out of nothing. Uses the ball very effectively by hand and foot. A back-to-back Under-18 All-Australian and a member of the NAB AFL Academy. Averaged 21.8 disposals and four clearances during his four matches in the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships.
“He’s as good as any kid who’s come through our program. He’s a great player and a fantastic kid, very family oriented. He couldn’t come to draft training the other night because had to help his dad with the shearing. His self belief has developed a lot this year. I don’t think he believed as a 17-year-old, even with how well he played, that he was good enough to play league football. But this year that’s just grown and grown. Last year we played him on a half-back flank because he just read the play so well, but this year we played him a lot more on-ball. At the start I was a bit worried because he’s still pretty small and he was inside the packs all the time. But he’s such a tough kid and as the season went on he got out into a bit more space. He’s just a ball magnet. He’s a real country kid and there’s no airs and graces about him. he just loves it.”

Anyone reckon Clayton Oliver will slide to 24?

Parish isn’t doing so well with the skills testing.

Clearly tanking to avoid GC. Or Essendon.

Might be his dodgy groins (according to Bruce Reid)
We need to add players with magic. We have enough solid types but not enough match winners who can do something special to turn a game our way.Milera please

How you articulate is uncannily similar and I can hear him in the words you choose. Don't blow your cover but give me a sign you are him. free membership for the rest of my life should do it.

Geez I was pretty set with Francis and Parish should we get #5 for Carlisle, reading that and exploring a little I think I would like a raft of selections that GC had (something like every second pick in the top 10) so many good reads about players such as Tucker, Mathieson, Collins, either McKay (as they would prefer it seems to NOT go to the same club) etc.
