We finished 15th of 18 this year. Wooden Spoon 'Winner' Carlton is the only Victorian based club to finish lower than us. We lost 16 games this season. We had a terrible season and that is why we have so many Sunday twilight games.Stop thinking its a conspiracy against us.

I personally don't mind our fixture but reckon the club will be disappointed. I reckon our crowd figure will drop significantly with so many games at 3:20 and 4:40.Very ordinary times when you have young families.
But it works for me.
I can see how this would be bad for some familys but its great for me, my 3 and 5 year olds just can’t go to the nighttime games, they are asleep for it all if we do. Now with all these day games they can go to the game and then go home for bed, meaning we can actually buy a family membership this year for the first time ever and all go! I am super pumped! I personally don’t like day games, but i’m happy to take it on the chin to go with my kiddies.
Maybe not your kids, but many including my nephews have been convinced by their peers to ditch the drug cheats for a more respectable team, so no biggy…
Personally i think Sunday twighlight sucks the biggest possible ■■■■.
Kids are very easily bribed. I did this with my now 24 year old nephew when he started siding with his Collingwood supporter Dad. I offered $1 to stick with Essendon when he was around 10 and it has stuck to this day. True story.
5 sunday twilight fixtures - fark off
Peter Gordon privately seething!
What’s the need for the floating final round fixture if they are also having a pre finals bye?
The worst thing about Sunday games is that il be going into work hungover more. At least on a Saturday i have a day to recover
Was the round 24 bye a very late addition, or are they moronic enough to leave round 23 “floating” when there is now zero reason for that?!?
Let’s sook a little more. Hasn’t been enough of it!
What's the need for the floating final round fixture if they are also having a pre finals bye?Because ladder position can be manipulated lose and have a home final etc. So afl try to keep suspense till last game of round 23.

Talk around of a Monday night match between 2 finals contenders and/or Thursday night final in first week.
I think most of the hand-wringing is over scheduling and venues, not necessarily the fixture itself. And I can kind of see that. Sunday matches were always my least favorite and we got a butt load of them.
I don’t think it’s that difficult, but it isn’t a very good draw from a members’ POV, at least locally based ones. Interstate members would probably be pretty happy.

That’s a relief, I’m glad we don’t play any top 6 teams from last year. Are we in a different conference now?
Someone better tell the Hawks they finished 7th.
Whilst the bracketing of teams to determine who you play twice isn’t a bad idea it doesn’t always transfer as being an easy draw the following season. For instance I feel that Geelong and Port Adelaide will be two of the better teams in 2016 but they had off years and finished in the middle 6 teams last year.
We have been given a favourable draw in terms of making the 8…
It’s not a nice thought that while we want to play the lesser teams twice - so do they
Good teams don't whinge about the draw.Which I guess is why we’re whinging
The club isn’t whinging, we are.
How many of those interstate trips are norfs home games? To put the whinging into context. We play interstate 6 times. The fewest is 5.Nth play interstate 8 times, have 8 six day breaks and play Hawthorn, Sydney, Adelaide and the Bulldogs twice.
I’d hate to see the wrist slashing on here if we had that draw.
But that’s North. F**k North. Couldn’t happen to a better team.
