This was my fault. This week we got an invitation to a 1st birthday party for the first sunday of the finals. I told the parents that I wont be attending if Essendon is playing. Got my hopes up, got OUR hopes up. I jinxed it

The bottom line is that unfortunately, we have too many key players out and cannot sustain the pressure week to week. This year is a write off. Next year, if we can keep most of our guns on the park, we could be a genuine threat. Not this year.

why is it that most teams in the 8 have thrashed the Suns, collingwood being the latest today, 69 points. We struggled to beat them by 10 points last week and no percentage boost Not a contender for the flag this year I am afraid, particulary on the crap we served up yesterday.
