Can Rayner is escaping criticism big time. Number one pick and he’s only a small forward at this point.
Just me or is modern Afl generally a boring sh-tshow barely worth it? Watching a match siren to siren seems to feel like a fkg chore

It probably not just you, but I still love watching it.
I know what you mean, … yet oddly I don’t feel that way when watching the AFLW, … & seemingly regardless of the scores.
Maybe just the novelty and it will eventually wear off, but I’ve found it preferable viewing for the most part so far.
The Mens games have been pretty shitt so far though tbf.

If you think footy should involve physical contests, it’s pretty easy to see why “lower grade” footy can be more entertaining.
